The River City Raiders made up most of the American Team at this years Hand of Nod Scenario Game.  The first night the Russians had the advantage of numbers and being nearly invisible in the night game as they took the lead for the first two hours of the game.  But the Americans punched back the next day by taking several key objectives and holding off the Russians.  Near the middle of the game, a third faction arose known as the "Yuri's".  Unknown to most of us the Russian second in command had brainwashed the most elite troops on both American and Russian sides to fight for him.  When the brainwashed troops betrayed the Russians the remaining Russians surrendered to the American forces.  The American and defeated Russian survivors fought the Yuri's hard to try and stop them from building a bomb to destroy the world.  Half an hour before the game ended, a single River City Raider snuck behind the Yuri lines and stole the bomb, which we managed to hold for the rest of the game securing our victory! 

The River City Raiders played a few fun practice games this weekend to hone up on our squad tactics for the upcoming C&C Game at Crowley Ridge.

Unfortunately none of our members made it to our home game at Crowley Ridge Paintball this past weekend due to schedule conflicts. We hope to make it to the next game to win back our first place title!

The River City Raiders proudly fielded 7 members to the recent Isle of the Dead scenario paintball game at Smakzone. Contributing in many of the Marines missions such as: the DZ Run, Operation Insulator, and the Anti-Virus Potion Run. Then after being turned into zombies the River City Raiders took and held the Outpost for the remainder of the game. The Team Captain (Matt) was awarded the Most Valuable Turn (MVP) of the zombie army... Overall we had fun and will be coming back to next years game.
